First Win Of The Season For Oisin Mooney

Oisin Mooney got the Eire Og Garys Cycles Racing Teams season off to a flying start with a dominating performance at Round 1 of the Chain Reaction Downhill Winter Series in Bigwood Forest on Sunday last.
Oisin proved fastest in his category on both runs of the technical downhill course and finished almost 5 seconds clear of the opposition for a well deserved victory. Having just returned to competition last year after a number of years off the bike Oisin is consistently improving and should soon be upgraded to the elite ranks.
With the first win in the bag on the MTB scene the pressure will be on his road racing team mates to come up with some good performances when the road season gets underway in Galway in a few weeks time.
