Ras Donegal 2008

Next weekend sees the Martin Cadden sponsored Eire Og Cycling Club hold a 2 day training camp for cyclists of all abilities. The camp will be held on the 15th and 16th of November at the Teeling Centre Collooney with sign on from 10 a.m. The camp is open to riders of all levels from beginners to advanced racing cyclists and all are welcome to attend. Recently the Cadden sponsored squad took part in Ras Donegal with 3 days hard racing around the hills of west Donegal. Taking part for the team were Alex Carey, Basil Freeman and Daire Mooney. Unlike last year when the team were annihilated by bad luck and bad form the lads rose to the occasion and performed admirably with all riders finishing in the top 50 in the gruelling event.
