New and potential members are more than welcome
Non Sligo City Triathlon Club members and Triathlon Ireland members must sign an insurance waiver in order to participate.

All competitors must fill out and sign the application form and pay the fee of €30 for entry to the full league (seven events). Individual time trial entry fee €10

All competitors must wear a helmet.

Each race takes place on the dual carriageway open road therefore all competitors must obey the rules of the road.
Particular attention must be paid when approaching roundabouts and crossing exit and entry routes.
Drafting is not permitted.

Rules and Regulations

General
The Time Trial League Competition will be decided on points awarded in three divisions (Depends on Numbers).
Division 1 Riders with a 10 time of 24:59 or less
Division 2 “ “ “ “ 25:00 to 27:59
Division 3 “ “ “ “ 27:59 or more
Points are awarded on the basis of 10 points for 1st in each division, down to 2 points for 9th, and 1 point thereafter for every rider who finishes.
Members will be assessed on their first few rides and placed accordingly to their category. Time keepers and organisers decision
Your best seven events qualify for points and overall prizes.
You must participate in two 40k time trials
Marshalling
League Points for marshalling
Two marshalling/helping duties are required from participants for the league. We need a minimum of five marshals a night for the time trials to commence.

If a date you have volunteered for is subsequently no longer convenient, please arrange a replacement and let the Colm know ASAP.
20 Bonus Points will be awarded for marshalling/helping duties.
Prizes
Will be awarded for first 3 in each division (9 prizes).
One prize for fastest time over each of the distances in each category
